The trailer for the much-awaited film Sikandar has been finally released, and the audience's excitement is palpable for the film . The trailer launch event was graced by the star-studded cast of the film, including Salman Khan, producer Sajid Nadiadwala, director A.R. Murugadoss, actors Sharman Joshi, Rashmika Mandanna, Anjini Dhawan, Sathyaraj, and Kajal Aggarwal. The event marked a significant moment for the film as fans eagerly awaited to catch a glimpse of the movie.
During the event, Salman Khan shared some interesting insights, especially regarding the age gap between him and his co-star Rashmika Mandanna. The 31-year age difference between the two had been a point of conversation on social media, but Salman was quick to address it humorously.
He said, “Sometimes, it happens that I don’t sleep for six or seven nights, and then the people on social media say, 'We need to show them that we are still relevant.' Then they say that there is a 31-year age difference between me and the heroine. But when the heroine doesn’t have a problem and neither does her father, why should you have an issue? When she gets married, has kids, and they become stars, they will also work with me. The mother will give permission (referring to Rashmika).”
Salman Khan also praised his co-star Rashmika Mandanna for her dedication and hard work on the film. He acknowledged how she pushed through challenges and showcased incredible commitment, despite her demanding schedule.
“She has been fantastic. All of us worked really hard, but especially Miss Mandanna. She was shooting for Pushpa 2 and would finish there by 7 PM. She would then join us by 9 PM and work with us until 6:30 AM. Then she would head back to Pushpa 2,” Salman shared. “And mind you, she wasn’t even well at times. After breaking her leg, she still worked with us and didn’t cancel a single day of shooting. She reminds me a lot of my younger self.”

Sikandar is scheduled to be theatrically released worldwide on 30 March 2025.
